What is Powering Tottenham?

We are a registered Community Benefit Society (CBS)

We are a not-for-profit organisation run by local people. As a CBS, everything we do is for the benefit of the community, not private profit. Any surplus we generate is reinvested into more local energy projects.

We reduce bills for buildings with limited budgets

We secure grants to fund the installation of solar panels and batteries for public buildings. That means public buildings in Tottenham can reduce their bills and carbon emissions with no upfront cost.

We take care of everything from installation to operation

From start to finish, we take care of the whole process from:

Securing grant funding
Assessing the feasibility of the site
Managing the installation
Operating and maintaining the system

We make it simple for building managers to reduce their energy costs.

We facilitate community owned energy

We offer opportunities for local people to invest in our projects and to own community shares in Powering Tottenham. This means the people of Tottenham can co-own the energy powering our neighborhood, and share the benefits.
